Made this painting after my grandma's abstract work. I feel like she must have been looking at a flower petal or something. She often used a magnifying glass and would paint from that.

Every year I make Jana a bad painting based on something that annoys her or is an inside joke. This year it’s this painting of beavers in a boat. It’s from a chikdren’s book cover that I kept hiding throughout the house in unusual places. Still unfinished
