CJ pulled his body out of the bar, and he found himself peering into a swirling, pulsating portal that looked both organic and digital. Somehow a mix of both the real world and digital. He knew he had nothing left to lose, and he threw himseld into the void. He immediately was engulfed by a vortex of colors and sounds. He felt his body twisting and turning in impossible ways as he hurtled through time and space. His head turned into a block and his flesh had become a gelatinous mass that was exploding all around him. When he emerged on the other side, he found himself in a strange, otherworldly dimension, neither real or digital. In the distance he saw the glow of some christmas lights slowly glowing around what appeared to be a television set. As he walked closer, it became apparent his presupposition was correct, and he began to make out what was on the screen. It was him. It was filled with bizarre creatures and mechanical monstrosities. CJ knew he had to find a way out, or he risked being lost in this in between world forever.
